THE PAZ PROJECT

The purpose of this project is to make this example of Sustainable Ecoturism a complete success.

WHY ?

TO GIVE A CLEAR MESSAGE TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT THERE ARE WAYS TO PREVENT THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FOREST.

VOLUNTEERS TO TEACH ENGLISH: We need volunteers to teach english to our staff as part of the training process to become a first class operation.

VOLUNTEERS LODGE: This is a first step to implement the rest of the construction projects needed to make this place a 1st class show for the Birds of Ecuador.  From here, and with the help of volunteers and giving organization, we will plan and execute the rest of the project.

TOURIST LODGE AND RESTAURANT:  Many of the birding companies and tour operators charge hefty prices for their tours, it is important that The Paz Project achieves higher financial gains to encourage the Paz family and others to follow.

TRAVEL AGENCY: This agency should encourage the participation of the local talent in the many different bird tours that cover the Northwest of Ecuador. 

FRUIT FARMING DEVELOPMENT: A continuation of this activity is also seen as an economic benefit and also beneficial to attracting birds to the area.
